More than beans —
a direct relationship.

INABARA Coffee is the trading brand under PT. Kayana Mekar Abadi, a green coffee exporter based in Indonesia and part of the LIECO Group. We source directly from farmers and established local collectors across the country's most recognized growing regions.

We are a growing business — we say this honestly, not as a disclaimer. It means our buyers get direct access to the people making sourcing decisions, and genuine flexibility that larger exporters often cannot offer. Whether you need a single sample, a small introductory lot, or a full FCL container, we work with you at whatever stage makes sense.

Our mission is to connect Indonesian coffee farmers with international buyers who care about quality and origin — and to build trade relationships that last beyond a single shipment.

02 / Our Strengths

Why buyers
work with us.

/ 01

Direct Sourcing

We source directly from farmers and established local collectors in the growing regions. No unnecessary chain between the farm and your warehouse — which keeps our costs honest and our information accurate.

/ 02

Origin Focus: Aceh & Java

Our core sourcing is centered in Aceh (Gayo Highlands) and Java — two origins with distinct, well-recognized profiles. Beyond these, we actively source from Bali, Toraja, and Flores for buyers seeking broader variety.

/ 03

Flexibility for Buyers

We are set up to work with buyers at different stages — whether you need a sample to evaluate, a small introductory lot, or a regular container. We do not impose minimums that make it impractical to start a relationship.

/ 04

Transparency

We share what we know about each lot — origin, process, approximate harvest period, and any relevant cup data. We do not oversell. If a lot has limitations, we say so. Buyers who work with us know they can trust the description.

/ 05

Quality Control & Hands-On Handling

We work closely with our supply partners on selection and sorting before green coffee leaves the origin. Lots are reviewed for moisture, physical appearance, and cleanliness before export.

/ 06

Long-Term Partnership Focus

We are not looking for one-time transactions. We want buyers who become partners — who return each harvest season because they trust what we send and value consistent communication.

03 / Our Coffee

Two species.
One standard.

We export washed, natural, honey, wet-hulled (giling basah), and wine process green beans. Every lot arrives with a full profile: moisture, defect count, screen size, and harvest window.

04 / Origins

Five terroirs.
One archipelago.

Our primary sourcing is Aceh (Gayo) and Java — the two origins with our strongest, most consistent supply. Bali, Toraja, and Flores are available as additional origins for buyers seeking broader variety.

Aceh Gayo
PRIMARY ORIGIN

Aceh Gayo

Gayo Highlands · 1,200–1,700 MASL

Full-bodied, earthy, and complex — with notes of dark chocolate, cedar, and subtle herbal character. Our strongest and most consistent sourcing region.

Explore origin
java
PRIMARY ORIGIN

Java

Preanger, West Java · 1,400–1,800 MASL

A centuries-long coffee history. Java produces both estate-grown and smallholder lots with a generally cleaner, lighter cup compared to Sumatra — well-suited for buyers who want Indonesian character without heavy earthiness. Washed, natural, and wet-hulled.

mandheling
PRIMARY ORIGIN

Mandheling

02°35'N · 98°42'E

The archetype of Sumatran coffee. Deep body, low acidity, with pronounced earthy and cedar notes. Processed predominantly via the traditional wet-hull method (giling basah), which gives the green bean its characteristic blue-green hue.

bali
ADDITIONAL

Bali Kintamani

Kintamani Highlands · 1,000–1,500 MASL

rown under the traditional Subak Abian farming system, with volcanic soil and intercropping with fruit trees. Produces a clean, mildly sweet cup with pleasant acidity — an approachable and distinctive option from Eastern Indonesia.

Explore origin
toraja
ADDITIONAL

Toraja

Sulawesi · 1,400–1,900 MASL

A distinct identity: full body, low acidity, and a rich earthy depth with occasional notes of dark fruit and spice. Processed using the traditional wet-hull method — a sought-after origin among specialty roasters familiar with Indonesian profiles.

Explore origin
flores
ADDITIONAL

Flores Bajawa

Bajawa Plateau · 1,200–1,700 MASL

An emerging but exciting origin. Coffee from Bajawa tends to be bright and fruity with a clean body — a profile that differs noticeably from Sumatra and Sulawesi. A strong option for buyers wanting to offer something less common on their menu.

04

Once approved, we confirm volume, price, Incoterms, and payment terms in writing. A proforma invoice is issued and inventory confirmed.

2–3 days
05
Preparation & Shipment

Coffee is sorted, bagged in GrainPro or jute as specified, and shipped from Tanjung Priok. All export documents provided: phytosanitary, COO, B/L.

5–6 weeks
06
After Delivery

We follow up after delivery to confirm everything arrived as expected. Long-term relationships are built on these conversations — not just invoices.

Ongoing

A double inspection before any container is sealed.

Every shipment passes through two independent quality checkpoints. Only lots that clear both proceed to packing and loading. Results are documented and available to the buyer on request.

Checkpoint 1
At Origin

On-site quality check by our Aceh-based team member. Moisture reading (calibrated meter), visual defect count, weight verification, comparison against locked sample. Lot approved or rejected before leaving the farm or vendor facility.

Checkpoint 2
At Warehouse

Second independent check upon arrival at our Jakarta warehouse. Final cross-comparison against locked sample. Moisture re-verification. Only lots that pass both checkpoints proceed to packing and loading.
